The Orange County, CA based group THE CALICO SYNDICATE started out as merely a group of friends who enjoyed the experience of fly fishing together.   Then in 2012 with the help of Tight Loop Media they made their first film appropriately titled "The Calico Syndicate" which became an official selection of the national FLY FISHING FILM TOUR (F3T).

Since exploding on the local and national stage the group has leveraged their sphere of influence and become the premiere advocacy group for the promotion of the sport of fly fishing in Southern California.  To date the group has hosted nearly 30 experiential marketing events for the purpose of bringing awareness to the sport as well as creating product activation for their partners & sponsors. All the anglers have full-time careers & families, however they donate their spare time to helping develop the fly fishing community in Southern California.
