Shortly after graduating from California State Polytechnic University in 1992, Dave started his own small business which he still operates today. The hard work, attention to details and ‘doing whatever it takes attitude’ that he has used in 23 years of running his own business is also used in his passion for fishing.

As a third generation fisherman on the southern California coast and Baja waters and as a fisherman who started with conventional gear before making the transition onto the fly fishing scene, Dave uses knowledge and experience from both styles of fishing while targeting fresh and saltwater species. This deep fishing background allows him to adapt and be successful in various conditions whether in the bays, along the coast, local islands or chasing freshwater species such as trout and bass.

Dave has shared his passion for fishing over the years with his wife Linda of 24 years and kids Tobie and Madison as well as others through local charity events, fishing seminars and fly tying demonstrations.
