Capt. BILL CALHOUN | RESIDENTIAL REAL ESTATE AGENT

Bill Calhoun is a former C-130 Aircraft Mechanic for the Air National Guard. Once out of the Military, he pursued his life’s passion by working in the fly fishing industry. Bill held a manager position at Bob Marriott’s Fly Fishing Store in Fullerton California, arguably the largest fly fishing store in the world.

Bill’s responsibilities at Bob Marriott’s were sales manager, mail orders, fly buyer and travel host. Bill also instructed beginning fly fishing, surf fly fishing, beginning through advanced fly casting and spey casting. Bill has hosted trips to many domestic as well as exotic international destinations, catching anything from trout and bass to snook and tarpon.

Soon after Bill left Bob Marriott’s, he earned his United States Coast Guard Captains License to begin Calhoun’s Coastal Fly Fishing Service or (C2F2).  Bill is an Umpqua Signature Fly Designer, a Federation of Fly Fishers Fly Casting Instructor, and a Sage endorsed Spey Casting Instructor.

Currently, in order to fund his lifelong addiction to fly fishing, Bill has become a residential realtor and works through Teles Properties in Newport Beach, CA. When Bill isn’t selling homes or traveling, he can usually be found near white water in his center console casting huge streamers to calico bass lying tight to rocky island shores.
